大家好我是強尼





很久沒幫大家翻譯了，剛剛看到一篇很棒的文章，

希望讓更多Surfer跟想入手露營車的朋友看看。

以下正文開始


If you are considering van life, read this now,

just to make sure you can really handle it!

如果你還在考慮要不要入露營車這個坑的話，你應該先看看這一篇文章


　

1. You will never be sure where home is.

你永遠不會確定你的家會在哪!

And then you'll realize that you are sitting in it,
because home is where you park it!

你漸漸的會了解，車停在哪，哪裡就是家

2. You might get stuck in rivers.

你很可能會卡在河中央

But you'll also cross some!

但是你當然也跨越了不少條河流




　

3. You will not like some places.

有一些地方你可能會不喜歡

But you'll just have to start your van to explore new ones.

不過你會開始尋找下一個新的地方





　

4. You will drive a lot,

which can be incredibly tiring.

你會漸漸得開越來越多的車，而且出乎意料的都不會累

But when this happens,
you'll just have to stop your
van and jump on the couch.

不過當這件事情發生的時候你會停下你的露營車

然後跳上你車上的沙發





　

5. If you drive an old van, you won't be able

to hear anything while the engine is running.

如果你開的是老的那一種(百萬修理車)

你就不會聽到當引擎在轉動的聲音，因為是後置引擎

But when you'll stop it, you'll hear the sound of the waves

 and of the tweets of the birds in the palm trees.

但是當你停下來的時候你會聽到海浪，鳥兒跟棕梠樹的沙沙聲



　

6. Laundromats will be hard to find.

你會發現洗衣店是很難找的

　

But you won't need it that much,

as you'll only be wearing a swimsuit and flip-flops.

不過如果你真的這麼需要洗衣店的話

你會發現穿泳裝跟拖鞋是很方便的






　

7. You will have to repair your van a lot.

你會發現你將會你會很常修車

But you'll get better mechanic skills.

不過你也會發現你越來越了解電機這一件事情了!





　

8. Sometimes you will feel like the only person on earth,

which can make you feel lonely.

有時候你會以為地球上好像只剩下自己一個人，

有時候會覺得孤單

But it also means that you are the temporary king or queen

 of this wild and deserted place.

不過也表示你暫時是這荒野上的一匹狼，這個地方暫時都是你的


　

9. Reliable internet will sometimes be tricky to find.

穩定的網路有時候是很難找的

荒涼的地方有時候收訊真的很差

But you'll discover how good it feels to be disconnected.

不過你會發現跟網路脫節有多棒!





　

10. You will constantly have to refill your van with groceries

, water, gas, and propane.


你會很常把車上的水，瓦斯，汽油，

還有食品補的滿滿的，好隨時可以出遊

But that means you'll have provisions to explore the wild.

這也表示了你將會常常的對野外進行探險

　



　

11. Your van will get stuck. A lot.

你會很常刁車，非常常...

But those who free you will become new friends, and

 you'll have a lot of fun at the same time!


不過那些免費幫助你的人很容易成為你的新朋友，

而且你會覺得那段時間很有趣。


　



　

12. Living in such a tiny space

 will start to drive you crazy.

住在車上這樣小的空間，可能會讓你有點煩躁

But then you'll open the door and see how wide your playground is.

但是你會打開你的車門，看看這個世界有多麼的大


　




　

13. At night when the waves are big,

their noise will prevent you from sleeping.


如果晚上海浪很大的話，

浪打在岸上的聲音可能會吵到你睡覺

But you'll know that the next day will be a good day to surf.


但是隔天會發現你會有很好的浪可以衝



Ok, well, you understood it, you'll most probably love van life the same way we do!

好的，這下你應該大概知道了"VanLife"這個名詞，以及我們的生活方式了!

　

後記: Vanlife 這個名詞在或許很迷人，

不過如果入手的休旅車是比較舊的款式比方說像是強尼的T3，

如果你的修車功力跟我一樣弱的話盡量不要挑戰人煙太稀少的地方吧。

拖車費可是很貴的 = =
